Need forumla for percentage
I am looking for a formula or way in excel that I can input the amount of hours, pieces per hour and it gives me a percentage of how close I was to hitting the expected goal. For example- I need 13 pieces done per hour, so that is 100% of my goal per hour. So I would like to be able to put in that I worked 4 hours, and did 78 pieces of work for a total of 185%. |

How do you calculate 185%?

=Pieces/(Goal*Hours)
For your data, 78/(13*4) = 150% |

Last Saturday was long. I entered the wrong hours, so 3.25 hours, which equaled out to 42.25 pieces of work (13 per hour). So 78 divided by 42.25 times 100 for 184.61- rounded up to 185.

What I am trying to do is get the excel sheet to be able to do this by entering the hours and number of items worked.
