Any way to ignore neighboring cell while ignoring blank cells in SUMPRODUCT?
I normally use Excel to calculate my current grade in a class but I am wondering if there is any way to ignore a weight in a calculation? (for example, ignore the 20% I have listed for Final Exam, as I clearly won't need that in a calculation because I will not have that grade until the end of the semester)
Right now, the formula I have with the Final Grade takes into account all of the weights, so the grade is marginally lower because it is still taking the weight into account and essentially substituting a zero in when the grade cell is blank. Is there any way to fix this so that, for example, if I only had a 90 in one section, attendance for example, the grade would be 90 and not 13.5 (90*.15, the weight)? Attached is a .png of my sheet right now.
I also understand why I have div/0 errors, as I have no grades in for the cells that those cells with an error are averaging.
