Goodday, I have a spreadsheet with a protected worksheet. Some of the cells are locked, others aren't. The problem I have is that I cannot sort in a protected worksheet, although I have set allow sorting when I protected the worksheet In the attachment there is code for working around, but I don't think it is the nicest way to solve it. By right-clicking on i.e. column header "Date start" you can choose for up- or down sorting. Anybody have an idea of why I cannot sort in a protected worksheet, using the normal autofilter options ? regards John |

Have all the cells of the table unlocked.
On the Protect Sheet dialogue, check both Sort and Use AutoFilter. |
