I would like to sort in the following manner...as an example:
C1
C2
C10
C11


However, Excel will sort as follows:
C1
C10
C11
C2
Can this be changed?
I'm not a computer whiz kid so if it's a dumb question I apologize.

You would need to prefix the single-digit numbers with a 0 (e.g. C01) to get the correct sort.

One quick and easy way...

Say your list is in A2 and down

In B2 use the formula =SUBSTITUTE(A2,"C","")+0

Now sort by column B smallest to largest
