I am aware that the format painter copies and pastes the format of the entire cell.
However, I'd like to copy the format of some text in a cell and paste it to some selection of text in the same cell, similar to the format copy/paste function of MS Word (ctrl+shift+c/ctrl+shift+v). Could it be done? |

I don't think you can apply different formats to the same string in the same cell

You cannot copy and paste format of individual characters.
