I have two different Excel Files each having two different columns of data, they share one common set of data in a Column. I want to copy and paste and create one file, but sort the file so the common data matches and then extract and match the data linked to it. Please let me know if this doesn't make any sense. I think I am over complicating things as I believe this is probably a common problem. Thanks in advance for any solutions.

Perhaps something like a VLOOKUP function?
Eventually post a small sample showing some data and desired results?
