Default Reopen worksheet where I left off

I use Excel to post client account records, some of which are many screens long. Every time I reopen Excel to make a new entry on a worksheet, it has defaulted to the top and I need to scroll down to the point to make a new entry manually. Doing a Ctrl-End sends me to the absolute bottom of the file's potential limit. Is there a way to change this default to simply leave the worksheet at the point it was saved?
