Can it be that a FV formula works fine in one row and the exact same formula gives me a wrong result in the next row?



Has anyone ever encountered this strange phenomenon, and if so, how did you fix it? Please help, I think I'm going crazy

Perhaps post a small sheet showing the problem , ( no pics please) ?

Notice how the balance in B9 went down (as it should after 2 months of payment), but in the following rows it goes up?

Thank you. It helped me figure out what I did wrong. I forgot to divide the interest rate by 12, since payments are monthly but the interest rate is annual. Now all is working as it should. I should've known it was an operator error. Thank you for your help.
