Hi,
I have a set of data, 5 rows, with one input column (G) and one column with a formula (H). I want you to be able to add another row somewhere in the middle and that the formula autofills and adjusts correctly. The formula found in the H column is as follows: =MIN($L$15;G11/2) - Found in cell H11. (It just chooses the smallest number between the input/2 and a given constant L15). In H12 the formula is =MIN($L$15;G12/2) etc.... I have formatted the five rows as a table, however when I create a new row the reference that should be to the adjacent cell in column G is off! For example: When I create a new row 12 the formula that is being autofilled is: =MIN($L$16;G14/2) and not =MIN($L$16;G12/2) as it should be. it draws data from G14 instead of G12 that is. I would be so thankful if someone could help me with this! Why doesn't excel understand that it should say G12? the "old" G12 that is being moved down to row 13 adjusts correctly and now shows =MIN($L$16;G13/2) Hope this makes sense. Thank you very much!
