Cool worksheet compatibility issues using VLOOKUP

I'm so close! I have a workbook that won't bring Vlookup results to the first sheet from additional sheets. I have figured out that if you copy and paste cell A1 sheet1 to A1 sheet 2, that solves the problem. However, copying and pasting 140+ names isn't practical.
The first sheet is downloaded from the internet as a .csv file, but the additional sheets are copied and pasted from another site. This seems to be causing some sort of format issues.
