Formula that calculates cumulative averages

Change your formula in J3 from:
=AVERAGE(I2:I3)
to:
=AVERAGE(I$2:I3)

and copy down.

That did the trick. I can’t believe it was that simple. I kept looking for a “cumulative average” formula or something. It has been a long week… Thanks!
