This is not strait forward.
I have a money value in cell A2 I want B2 to subtract a value held in E1 but if the value in A2 is less than the value in E1 it inserts £0.00 into B2 |

Perhaps like = MAX(0,A2-E1) ?

No That doesn't work it just puts it into the cell as text only.
