Hi all
I need some help please. I have a formula to input the information from one cell to another if there is something in the originating cell. =IF('Class Info'!A5=0,"",'Class Info'!$C$1). Happy with that. However, I now need to add sequential numbers to this I have ABCD1234 entered in cell C1 (a cell in the 'class info' sheet) and I would like this class number in another sheet ('Format sheet' GF5) that will add a hyphen and sequential numbering, resulting in: ABCD1234-1 ABCD1234-2 ABCD1234-3 Etc I have also posted a similar post in Word but it is probably best done in excel and then the field added to the document and populated when merged. Hope this makes sense. G |
