Long explanation but easy to do
Select the cell you want to keep the value of Place cursor against the upper border of the selected cell. It turns ot another symbol.( "cross with arrows"?) While holding down the right button of your mouse move the cell around and drop it where you want ( same place is ok) A menu appears Select "copy here as values only". Done The same can be done with ranges
