Auto Backup to a removable drive?

Can I auto backup to a removable drive? Can I have my file named "Dues" auto backed up on a removable drive as "Dues copy 1"; then the next time I auto back up have the file saved as "Dues copy 2" and so on?

I searched and found "save file history" in Windows 8 and 10, which does exactly what I needed
