Hello, I am currently trying to forecast the next few months worth of sales based on the past 52 weeks of sales (past year). The sales are broken up into individual weeks, although I can group them into months as well.
The issue I am running into is many of the sales tend to be seasonal based, where certain things are more popular in mar/apr/may and less popular in sept/oct or whatever, and this has a big affect on the trend line. Is it possible to compute a reliable forecast based on the past 52 weeks and a seasonal based data set? |
