Angry Very slow since upgrading to 2013

Hi,

I also have this issue with a large Excel workbook and the issue only arrived since upgrading to 2013. There is not option to downgrade again so I really need to find a solution.
  • Takes 20+ seconds to load
  • Other workbooks are almost instant
  • Not PW protected
  • Brand new Dell with lots of memory although keep being told not enough memory
  • Copy and paste is very slow even when there is not formula
  • Used Inquire tool to clear excess formatting
  • Folder is stored locally
I think that is all the info I have but if you would like more please ask. This is an important workbook and I really need to update and use it this week. Please if anyone has any thought, I would love to hear them.

Thanks in advance
Caz

Hi,

Just so I know for future posting. why is it hijacking when it is the same issue, surely the more information about this issue on the same thread is helpful and it saves creating new treads with the same issue whereby any solution will have to be repeated several times.

Not moaning, as I mentioned, I just want to understand the correct protocol.

Cheers

Old threads are often only monitored by the original participants. New threads not only open you up to all possible participants again, they typically get faster response, too.
If you feel an existing thread is particularly relevant to your need, provide a link to the other thread in your new thread.

As for your problem,I'm sorry, I have no experience of XL2013. A quick search on the Net indicates that many users seem to suffer the same problem.

If you decide to post the question on other forums, would you please post a link to those threads ? (read this for more explanation). Thank you
