Question filtering row with a wildcard in excel

in a firm they use SAP. They decided to assign the character * before the name of every ended product.
Then they export all the datas in ms excel.
It's not possibible to filter only theproductswith * because excel consider it as a wildcard.

Which should be the solution? It's not possibible for them change character.
thanks

That depends on the way you are trying to filter.
Anyway, to transform a "wild-card asterisk " to a normal character use ~* ( asterisk preceded by a tilde)

Delete the asterisks in the export. This can be done by doing a find/replace of ~*.
