Default Copying rows from one spreadsheet to another

When attempting to copy several rows from one spreadsheet to another, I receive an error message that says my action "requires the merged cells to be identically sized." In this case, all of the columns are of a different width. I have encountered this before and, if I recall correctly, there is a method for undoing the merged columns in the spreadsheet into which the data is to be copied. In other words, the spreadsheet into which I wish to Paste the data contains merged/linked columns.

Thanks for any assistance.
