Hello,
I'd like to set up autonumbering for each row in my Excel spreadsheet. This Excel Serial number would be the first column. There is data in all the other columns. I also want the numbering to recalculate if I insert rows with new data. Thanks for your help, Gef |

How about putting the formula =row() in the A column? If you use the Format as Table function (Home tab), the table will even insert the formula when you insert a new line.
