Hi All,
I have pasted details from an xml on to a column (A) in an excel sheet. This same excel sheet contains the same details in another column (B). I was able to add the formula =exact(A1, B1) to find out if both the sentences from column A and column B matches, as well as, I have filtered column A and B to - Sort A to Z It works! But to an extent. But even after filtering the columns, the sentences don't match in the same row. For example, in column A, the following sentence states, "Hi! My name is XYZ." and in column B, the following sentence states, "Hi! My name is XYZ" Please note the full stop in the above mentioned sentences. But both the above mentioned sentences do not appear in the same row but stead away from each other. And because of this the result I'm getting after applying the formula is FALSE. There are like a 100 sentences in both columns A and B. But they are all jumbled up because of such small minor differences. Is there an option to place the same sentences in one row? I hope you are able to understand what I'm trying to say here. Thanks. |
