When I 2X click on an excel file a 2nd blank window opens as well. How do I stop this nuisance"
I have Office 2010/ Thanks

That doesn't happen for me but I was able to find a solution that may help.

The link was for 2007 but I have 2010 Nevertheless I am happy to say it worked. My only question is, seeing that it seems to have reset everything re Excel to its defaults what else was done (eliminated. reset) in the process?
