Recovering data from virus-damaged files is fraught with difficulty and is often impossible. If it was an xlsx or xlsm file, you might try changing the extension to .zip and opening the file with a file-archive program (e.g. WinZip on PCs). If that's unable to open the file, you've lost all the data, in which case, you'll need to find a copy you've made (e.g. on a USB stick or in an email).
