Default Undo undoes in all workbooks not the one I'm in

In Office 2013 which I just started to use, seems to be linking all the workbooks I have open, so when I am in a workbook and use the undo, it returns to a workbook I was previously working on and undoes that action, not the one in the workbook I am in. This is driving me nuts, as I don't want to undo the actions in the other workbook, I want to undo the action in the current workbook. I may have several workbooks open at a time, Is this the way it's supposed to work? If so, is there a way to change it so it only undoes the actions in the active workbook?
