I already fixed it 5 minutes after I made the mistake. That didn't help.
And there would be no way to search every single entry to see if one slipped by. I have 1,500 entries. I doubt there's one earlier on in my work b/c the auto suggest always capped the C before, so I know it only started on that one mistake. |

You can't find & replace the same spelling of a word. It doesn't work like that.
In case you didn't understand what I wrote, I'm trying to get the auto suggest to change from cJ to CJ So I tried it your way even though I knew it wouldn't work & I was correct, all it does is find all the ones that are spelled correctly. Thanks Michelle |

Unless I've misunderstood what's going on, I think you can do that after all, eph2002. You're saying that when using <Ctrl-F> you ask for "cJ" and it finds "CJ" (right?). But if you expand the options you'll find a match-case feature; check that and you can tell Excel to find only lower-case 'c', upper-case 'J'.

I am not sure why my last post frustrated this user so much but I do not consider anything above "My Way" I would be happy to help with this further if ep2002 could post a sample worksheet. I apologize if this sounds rude this is not my intention at all. |
