Question Question: Will Vlookup work on this problem?

Typically by the time I come to these forums I have an idea of where I am headed, however in this case I do not know where to begin:

I have 2 spreadsheets:

1. Shows who passed, failed and incomplete (tested sheet)
2. Shows all the employees who should have tested (employee sheet)

I need to determine:
Who received a failed
Who received incomplete
Who did not take the test (which means their names do not show up on the tested sheet)

My level of knowledge: I don't know Vlookup, however I did not know VBA and was able to gain enough knowledge to understand/research how VBA works to determine if this would be my best route for that paticular problem and to copy and paste into the VBA area and then where to enter the formula associated with the VBA.

I am only assumning Vlookup would be my need simply based on reading one article

Hi
VLOOKUP or an INDEX/MATCH combination might do the trick. Perhaps post a small sample sheet ? ( no pics please)
