Matthew, Welcome to the board.
Depending on your version of Excel, go to file open, and see recent files (to the right). Look through the list to see if your file name is still there. If so, click on it; that may work.



Otherwise, go to My Documents, and see if it still resides there.

The number of recent files to be seen can be changed also.
