Hello, i am needing some help to setup my spreadsheet so that whenever i enter a value in one cell, it will automatically auto color fill another cell.
So in my example i want to enter any number in E1 and when i do, it will automatically changes C1 to yellow. Any help would be greatly appreciated ![]() |

Hi Kinar
One way, Select Column C For the conditional formatting rule: =$E1>0 Format as required. Kevin |

Hi Kevin
Your formula will work up to a point. However if values lower than 0 in the ASCII table are entered your formula will not work. Try this formula which covers "ANYTHING" entered in cell E1: =NOT(ISBLANK($E1)) Good luck. Tony |
