I have spread sheet with 10 Columns. One column (B) is formatted as numerical. All other fields are combination of numerical and text.
When I highlight the spreadsheet and try to sort the numerical column B, nothing happens. What is causing the spreadsheet not to sort? |

Hi
Without seeing a copy of your spreadsheet it is difficult to diagnose. If there is nothing sensitive in it then can you post a copy so we can take a look. Tony |

Thanks for your help. The above is a link to the spreadsheet. Trying to sort the last column. High to low or low to high---does not matter. |

Hi
Thanks for sending the link to your spreadsheet. The reason you cannot sort the data is because you already have three consolidations to your data. Hope this helps. Tony |

Tony: So all I need to do is copy the information to a new spread sheet. Correct?

Hi Jerry
On the left hand side of your worksheet you have 3 columns separate to the worksheet which appear to be some form of Consolidation. This is why you are unable to use the normal sorting on ANY of the columns in your worksheet. If you don't need the Consolidation then copy your data to a new sheet and you will be able to sort as you wish. Hope this helps. Good luck. Tony |
