Hi everyone,
I'm having a lot of trouble editing the legend titles in Excel 2011 for Mac. I've Googled around for solutions but they all seem to be for different versions of Excel, or they are for Windows Excel. I've created a line graph and in my legend the titles are Series 1, Series 2, etc., and I'd like to change these names to titles that are specific to my data. I have no idea how to do this. Right-clicking does not work. I remember when I used Windows, I could right-click and click select data and click Edit. However, there is no edit button on the Mac. Under Chart Layout, there is a Legend button, but there is no way to edit the actual text of the Legend. There are only text formatting options. Could someone please let me know a way to edit the names of my Legends? This is rather urgent, as I have a deadline approaching. As I mentioned I'm using OSX 10.8.2 and am using Excel for Mac 2011. Thank you! |
