Hi,
I am trying to create a "vertical axis title" on an excel graph that was imported to word. I have the parameters set up correctly, and the title looks fine until I click out of the graph back into the body of the word document. When I do this instead of the text reading correctly (vertical algined), it shows up as horizontal, stacked, one letter per line, reading down the axis. This document is a word-97-2003 document Please advise as how to fix this problem. Thank you. |

word perfect re: Vertical Axis Text Issue - Click on the title you want to display vertically, right click and select format axis title from the menu. Select Alignment from the list on the left hand side. Where it says text direction, select either rotate all text 270 degrees (rotate all text 90 degrees is another possible option). This should resolve your issue.
