For testing the range F32:F34 or F37:F42, your COUNTA expression is wrong. It should be:
=COUNTA(F32:F34)


=COUNTA(F37:F42)
Now, whether COUNTA will report anything other than 2 for either range depends on what, if anything, the referenced cells contain.
