![]() When I input data into a cell, it expands that cell horizontally, I wish to do the opposite by having the data expand vertically [downwards], please see attached doc, thanks. |

Click "wrap text" on the alignment group from the Home ribbon

yes, works thanks! Next issue please, I have dollar and cents amounts in multiple cells all in the same row, is there a way to auto add up the total of those cells please?

I suggest you start a new thread, this question being a totally different topic. Also add a sample sheet with your data. This being a basic question I suspect there is more to it than =sum(1:1) ?
