![]() I have a worksheet that has five columns starting at row 17 and ending varing from row 178 to row 185. The first field is for the sequential number. The fourth column has a an entry up to the 178th or 185th row. Using VBA how can I seqentially insert a number from 1 to n based on the fourth field entry. Please help. |

Sorry for the confusion. I have received a solution. Column 1 will have a sequential number starting from 1 to 178 or to 185 based on a value in column 5. Example:
Column 5 has a value of XYX for rows 1 to 178. Column 5 row 179 now has a value of ZOZ for rows 179 to .... and starting with new sequential number series again starting with 1 and so on. |
