I've got better news for you though: Excel 2007 has a built-in worksheet function to calculate the CAGR. The function is called XIRR(). You can find more information about it in the Excel helpfile and there's an example here:

But in XIRR you need at least one minus (-) data and one positive (+) data. so how if you only have positive data?
can you help me?
