Do you have the Skype Click-to-Call browser add-in installed? It seems that add-in is causing problems like your pasting issues on many systems. If you have it installed, you may need to disable or uninstall it until Skype releases a fix.

How to uninstall Skype Click-to-Call add-in? This add-in not affecting Microsoft Excel 2012?
