No, that's completely different. But you can create a formula that resolves to the same effect as that. On Sheet2 in cell B1, enter this formula, then copy to the right:



=INDEX(Sheet1!$A:$A, COLUMN(A1))

that works i would like to know what the how the formula is put together for other parts of my workbook thanks
