![]() Hi, This may sound simple but how do you format a Cell so that when you add an additional figure it is added to the one already there,for example a row containing a cell for miscellaneous items which can not be summed with anything else. ie cell contains the figure £23.89 and i want to ad £7.87 to this,is there a way to just highlight the existing figure/cell,type the additional amount and let excel do the calculation.At the moment i am doing the calculation manually and adding the result to the cell. Hope this makes sense Mark |
