Sort and filter on a protected sheet

Hello,



I am working on an Excel spreadsheet where I would like it to be possible to sort while the sheet is protected, as it contains formulas and will be used by multiple users. So far, I have only managed to add a macro that allows filtering and clearing filters, but I would also like sorting to be possible.

Could you help me, please?

When you protect the sheet, there are a lot of additional options you can set for protected sheet. As much as I remember, allowing the sorting is one of them!

dont work because i have a macro that add a line and protect the sheet again. So, i dont know what to do.

I think it is possible to set those protection options using VBA (I'm not sure, but probably I did it a couple of years ago - but this file was lost after our network admin's reorganised our server park. I think I remember, that there was no proper help in Excel, and I had to do a lot of search in Google to get the info bit-by-bit.
But in case you really use macros instead of VBA, then I'm not sure this is a way to go for you. Macros are quite limited tool!

I´m using macros because i dont know how to use VBA properly ;_;. I dont mind if somebody can help me.

Finally I find a way to do it, maybe its not the best, but it helps me at the moment.

If someone Knows another better I would like to hear about it
