Read this http://www.excelguru.ca/content.php?184 for an understanding regarding cross posting. It makes things easier for everybody when you include links.

#1 situation is from data validation. All the data validations have the check box checked to display an input message.

#3 can be achieved using the worksheet_change event but you'd need to elaborate on the who, what and where aspect of things.

#2 maybe conditional formatting, although I don't know if shifting the day schedules would wipe out the CF or not. Maybe using the worksheet_change event needed here also.
