Many thanks for responding.
"Simply write the code to suit the earliest ...." seems a bit of a tall order for a VBA "newbie" and suggests that I would need to know of any subtle differences between the 4 versions of Office! I was hoping there might be a parameter somewhere that I could set to limit the generated code to match the earliest Office version.
Naturally I will test my newbie VBA output on the four Office versions.
I'm managing a wry smile as I'm not sure I share your confidence that...
