But to me his question seems to be "How can I (in effect) use the value of some variable to control which of several subroutines I call?", while you seem to have answered the question "how can I format a cell to cause the value 21 to display as '21st', 22 as '22nd', 23 as '23rd' and so on?". Do I need to look at your solution more closely, or at his question?
