Ruby Soho and Steve_D,
Thank you both for all the help you have given me in solving my problem of the images to the left of my printout. As you suggested I clicked on Edit in my Word 2003 and then Thumbnaills and the images were gone. I am still befuddled by all the received instructions about creating and sending a file to you. No fault of yours - it seems too much for me to grasp in order to put steps in their right sequence. Well,back to the drawing board. Thanks again.
