Hello. How do I get a graphic(s) to appear in my document? I am using Word 2003 SP3. At the moment all I get is either a solid border around the insertion, or place holders, but no image.
I have had this behavior since Word 97 and with each upgrade I have the same situation. I have tried to delete and re-create normal.dot a number of times but its does not help. I have uninstalled Word - and MS Office - then reinstalled but I have the same situation. The only time I can see the images is when I choose either Print Preview or View->Reading Layout. All other layouts just show the place holders (the document(s) show up fine on any other computer). This is extremely frustrating as I am presently working on a user manual with around 50 inserted screen shots and I can't see the screen shots to write my explanations! It must be a setting somewhere which gets carried over with each new installation. Grateful for any assistance! Peter Tyler Geneva - Swizerland |
