| Size of image in Word document

I am inserting images in a Word document and need to know the exact size of the images or adjust the images to a specific size, i.e. height and width. For an example, I insert a golf ball on a tee into a blank Word document. From the ruler across the top the ball is about 1 3/8 " wide and from ruler on the left side the ball and tee is a little bit over 2". I would like to know the size/measurements more exact. If I could put vertical and horizontal lines that line up with the rulers, it would be a big help. Once I know the image size, I then need to print the image. Is there better way to accomlish what I am trying to do? Thanks |

If you want the image to be constrained to a particular size, create a 1-cell table with a cell that size, fixing the row height and column width. Beyond that, if you insert a picture and want to make sure it's a certain size afterwards, right click on it and choose Format Picture > Size where you can adjust the size to exactly what you want.
