Thanks for taking the time to consider my problem and offer a solution. However, as I suspect you will agree, I think the solution has the following vulnerability: If the table's precise position within a larger document is modified, there will be problems (I think). In this respect, I should have been more clear to the effect that the table is embedded in a larger document and, in the inevitable event that the document changes, the solution you propose will, I believe, no longer work.

I would think that there must be a way to ensure that no one team ever crosses a page boundary even if the position of the table gets changed as text is added (or deleted) from the larger document.

Again: I very much appreciate the time you took to offer a solution and the concerns I express do not imply any lack of such appreciation.
