Dear Paul,
I tried typing in 0E3F and what I got instead was an "ã" and not "฿." By the way, I'm using MS Word 2003.

Can't I add a new symbol to the list then? I didn't understand how you create a symbol with alt-x. Could you explain further please? I'm not a programmer expert.
