I'll try that out...that should do the trick. What about a situation where a task cannot be stopped once started, cannot go into non-work hours, but doesn't have to start at 8am. For instance, I have a 4 hour task with only 3 hours left in the day, I could use what you described to force it to start the next day at 8am. However, what if the schedule shifts later and then the opening goes to 5 hours in the day. I can now complete that task within that day, but this method would force it to start the next day at 8am no matter what. Isn't there just a way to have Project stop putting tasks on hold during non-work hours and only schedule it if there is enough time in the workday?
