Default Can Tables or Information be Linked in Word?

I have Standard Operating Specs and a Quality Plan. They both need to have the same table of values but right now, I have to remember to edit both files when changes are made.

What I would like is to be able to change one and have that change cascade to the other document or two that have the same information.

Can this be done in MS Word 2007?
