'Mirror margins' command
A few days ago I posted a problem concerning the 'mirror margins' setting for documents I had created. Many thanks to those who responded but the problem was not resolved in MS Word and eventually had to be fixed in Adobe Indesign.
It could be I'm doing or not doing something I shouldn't/should do though I'm a fairly experienced Word user and tried all manner of different settings in attempts to get it to work. The matter got me wondering - perhaps the problem is with the software, hence the following question: Has any user, running any version of MS Word on any operating system and using any offset margin setting they like, ever got 'mirror margins' to work properly? By 'properly' I mean accurate front/back margins registration and by 'accurate' I mean within paper feed tolerances (say 1mm or less). Users may like to try out this command for themselves if they are not familiar with it. As far as I can see, this command simply does not work but I would love to here from anyone on this worthy forum who has managed to get the command to work properly. Cheers, Stuart. |
